Subject: WoW Forum Moderators
We've resorted to "cry to get attention" methods. (thats what babies do)
Wouldn't it be more logical for us to offer help?

Are we responsible enough to make a difference or are we just going to whine like inefectual loosers?

If Bliz had the opening: Forum Moderator
perks such as: new Avatars, color name/text, "foot in the door"

Would you have the experience to post for your server as that class?
Could you represent your guild, server or Bliz in a professional manor?

Then why sit back and do nothing but complain?
Help the Blizard Comunity by volunteering to help Moderate the Forums. Theirs so many opertunitys for players to make a difference..several class styles and talent builds. Instead of demanding Bliz do more for you...Stand up and help them yourself!

Bliz, you would undeniably prove to all your customers that you care about their opinions.
Im not suggesting letting players own stock, but letting us become more involved could not only save you a ton of money; but ultimately build a much stronger gaming community. (Your player base has a loud voice...put it to work for you)

C'mon Bliz
Give us the oppertunity to really make a difference. To Put Up or Shut Up.
We could start by proving to you we can be responsible.

Open up new positions: Forum Moderator
salery = 0 (volunteer for application)
Duties could include: helping moderate each forum with specific class representitives ect.
Its logical to assume that out of the 3.5 million accounts their will be more than ample suitable people for the job. ;)

Let the players have a new angle on the game at the same time saving you money while improving the community. Its a win win situation for everybody.

We have no plans to institute volunteer positions either on the forums or in game that involve any manner of special powers here. What you're talking about is not a "moderator". We have moderators. Sinther and Coreiel are the forum police, as it were, patrolling and taking care of policy violations. That's what a moderator does.

What you're seeking is a volunteer class representative setup, which we have no plans on doing. Such a system does not in fact end up being a utopian world where every player change is made; such programs have their own inherent problems, and we prefer to work with our team here in Community on subjects of class communication.

Now, this doesn't mean that we won't have some sort of MVP (Most Valuable Poster) program sometime down the line, but it won't be class related.

Pallywackor, this is something we've gone over time and again internally with managers and such before the game even launched, and we revisit the topic from time to time. Our stance has not changed. There are legal and managerial concerns in any volunteer program. Your best bet to get player concerns to us is to post on these forums in an intelligent and constructive fashion so we can more easily communicate your ideas. We're the "middlemen" already -- we don't need to add yet another step.

And a properly implemented and carefully chosen MVP program can help the community a great deal. That is what we're going for.

EDIT: Burlur, we're looking at various possibilities (with the least amount of drawbacks -- post rating can go awry) along that line with the forum revamp.
