Since the Talent Calculator is available for all classes...why aren't Druid able to see the 1.7 changes, like the Hunters did?

The Druid talent changes won't be ready in time for patch version 1.7, unfortunately. As soon as the changes are locked down by the designers, we'll preview them, ideally using the interactive talent calculater.

Keep in mind that this does not mean there are no significant Druid changes in 1.7.

Content is not definitively locked for patches beyond 1.7, so I cannot tell you with any authority what changes for your class will be in X patch beyond the closest. I can say what I have said in the past -- the developers have been reviewing all Druid talent lines, particularly Feral Combat.
In 1.7, there are a number of (yes, positive) changes to Cat Form. Again, I'll try to procure specifics later on.

I did not deliberately deceive you. I, too, was given the impression that such changes (and do remember, I've consistently used the word "review" -- I'm unsure how extensive the changes would be, if any. I'm just passing along developer terminology there) would be coming at roughly the same time, but there is a limited amount of development time, and given the choice, they devoted the time to Hunter talents on that score as they were higher priority.
You're not being ignored and you are getting some very positive changes. Once I have the details for you I'll happily give them.
