We have been keeping the Server Alert message up to date, but now that I am once again able to post, I will give you an update on the situation.
The realms listed below remain down for maintenance. Fortunately, the 24 hour maintenance is proceeding slightly ahead of schedule. We will provide you with more information within a few hours.

Update 6:35PM: It appears that these realms should be operational and available for you at approximately 10PM PST. Additionally, players on Kelecgos, Moonrunner and Ursin will receive a 24-hour credit on their accounts.
Update 10:09PM: The progress we had made at the time of our last update led us to believe that we'd have the remaining fifteen realms up by 10PM, several hours earlier than expected. However, our network technicians are still in the process of bringing them up and testing them internally, which will take time. We hope to have each of the realms back online in the next three hours. We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

I think Blizzard needs to fire their existing staff at 100% and get people that have actually payed to play the game......
...the maintenance is set to end at 5AM PDT, which is a little more than an hour from now.
I understand your desire for an update, but I do ask that you observe time zones before making such demands. :)
Also, there are no new realms coming up at the end of this maintenance to my knowledge.

Not really, no. This was hardware maintenance on the servers themselves -- it's a disconnection between the databases and the forums that causes the lack of characters you see. This particular maintenance was not to address that issue, but rather several other more important problems occurring.

Folks, I know you're upset and you want more information than I have to give at the moment. I want nothing more than to have an ETA for you, to have information regarding what precisely is occurring, to be able to tell you joyfully that the realms are on their way up. I can't do any of these things at the moment, however, as I do not have that information yet and I cannot fix the realms myself.
All I ask is that you keep fairly civil on these forums. Express your discontent, that's fine -- just, please, refrain from the curse-out threads and posts occurring.

So tell us what you CAN DO for us not what you CAN'T
Actually, I can't do that. I do not decide on a whim, "It's time for a free day!", then wave my magical Billing Wand and make it so. The decision to give compensation is a process involving several higher ups in the company, people who do not come into work for a few hours yet.
Please do not dictate to me what I can supposedly do for you if you aren't sure of it yourself. :)

Update 7:04AM: The remaining issues are proving to be somewhat difficult to resolve. As the day grows lighter, more folks are getting involved and they're painstakingly investigating the problems therein. I still do not have an ETA for you, but as soon as I have one I will update you. Apologies.
Update 8:56AM: It appears that four of the realms have had their issues resolved and are currently in the process of final testing. If all goes well, we'll make them available to you as soon as we can. Work continues on the remainder fo the realms with no ETA at this time. As always, if I hear anything concrete, I'll update you immediately.
Update 9:05AM As requested, the four realms being tested at the moment are Destromath, Dethecus, Gorgonnash and Spinebreaker.
Update 9:33AM: Destromath, Dethecus, Gorgonnash and Spinebreaker should now be online and available.
