Last night when the extended time frame was announced it wasn't a big deal really. I mean I can understand if there are issues you are actually going to fix. But when it was announced that the remaining servers would be up at "approximately" 10pm PST I was thrilled to death, only to find out that it was yet another LIE.
You can't come right out and tell us the truth about when the server will be back up? You have to feed us full of bull$@!+? Pretty pathetic if you ask me. I've been watching the forums and reading the post all day now and I find it rather disturbing that the cm's gm's whatever you wish to call yourselves can't take 2 minutes to update us on the situation.
Like I said, I've been watching the forums and reading the post for the biggest part of the day and evening. You told us at "approximately" 10pm pst.....well for those of us that stayed awake waiting for the server to come back up at this time.....we got the shaft once again. NOTHING NEW THERE IS IT BLIZZARD?

*sigh* It was not a lie. It was an estimated -- estimated -- time of return. As time went on, it was revealed that it would take longer considering the situation. Circumstances change. Unforseen complications crop up. There is a cruder phrase for it, but it's not something in my professional vocabulary. ;)
We have kept you folks up to date in the sticky thread in this very forum. As it stands, it appears we require the full 24-hour maintenance window given for the realms, and unfortunately the new realms are involved in the maintenance process which is currently ongoing. Everyone who plays on those realms is being given a day's credit, as we've stated.
I do apologize if you planned around that given ETA, but understand that things do change and we try to keep you up to date on these matters. It is either keep you up to date and possibly give a time that will turn out to be incorrect due to various factors, or not give an ETA at all and leave you folks completely in the dark. We'd rather not do the second one in the case of realm issues if we have information to share, as people do want to play and we'd like to give them an idea of when to check back with us.
