Getting a bit tired of folks calling blizzard liars with no proof at all.
The irony is that when a person calls Blizzard a liar and that person turns out to be wrong ... well ... the person (and not Blizzard) is truely the liar.
The sheer irony of that fact is absolutely amazing and completely lost on the masses immature forum goes that frequent this service.
Question to you "Blizzard Haters" ... why would any associate that works for Blizzard lie? Lie's are easily rooted out and cause bigger issues then the original problem.
What good can come of a lie? Lies certainly can't help blizzard, and what's worse, if the associates are told to lie, soon they will lie to they supervisors ... because at that point, lying is an acceptable behaviour.
You see, for a company like Blizzard, lying hurts it on sooooo many levels that it's cost-prohibitive to promote lying.
Bottom line is it COST more for Blizzard to lie then for them to either not say something, or to simply tell the truth.
Not to mention the fact that a culture of lying is just not going to attract the best and brightest people to a company ... and a company is THE PEOPLE.
So ... stop already ... Blizzard doesn't lie ... and you just make yourself look bad by calling them a liers.

Also, we wrap the entire WoW infrastructure into a single word; "servers."
But that's just silly. A "server" is comprised of multiple pieces of hardware tasked with multiple responsibilities. I'm not saying we shouldn't do a better job. We most definitely should. But I just want to let our players know that if it was in our power to flip a switch, or insert 1 line into a command console to restart realms, we would.
Unfortunately, we (and hopefully you) are painfully aware that it's overly complex.
