I was curious about this. Talked to some people, and told me that quite a few Blizzard employee's who play WoW are mostly Hordes as their main.
Is that true? I have noticed that quite a few of the Blue's post are horde characters.
Do you play on the Horde side, or the Alliance side more (where the main part comes in).

Tyren's main is a night elf rogue, and Ordinn is a gnome, not a dwarf. ;) [ post edited by Caydiem ]

He likes dwarves also -- I'm just referring to his main character. ;)

Q u o t e: why do you edit practically all of your posts?
I forget things in my haste (if the post is not a significant one), or I make a typo (rarely).
Alternatively, I do it to make you nervous and/or confused.

Q u o t e: So which one of you guys plays the Paladin?
There is a Paladin, right?
Fangtooth, Eyonix, and Block all have Paladins. :P
EDIT: And as for your question, Tipme, we do not get special privileges of any type. Any equipment we have is honestly gained through gameplay. Because my time is split amongst many characters, unfortunately, I do not yet have my epic pieces. :|[ post edited by Caydiem ]

I'm not positive, Buddypaladin. I would like you to remember, however, that there are five of us (six, counting Block, but he does not directly deliver feedback to the developers and such), and nine classes. Inevitably there will be classes that we did not start as our main characters.
I personally have a high level Druid, Shaman and Rogue (60, 57 and 51 respectively) and my Hunter is (*drumroll*) 30 and climbing. (Gained two levels on her today after being absent from the game for a while due to my business trip.) My eventual goal is to level a character of every class, but that does take time. :)

Q u o t e: Start the mage class last. I would love to hear the comments after all the play time in the other classes.
I have started a Tauren druid and thought WTF to the higher quality of play I am getting over being a gnome mage.
I have a 21 Mage, in fact, but felt that I should devote more time to my Hunter. ;)

Q u o t e: Cay, does it bug you at all that you feel pressure to play certain classes even on the game you play for fun at home? You represent two classes and they're both clamoring for you to have experienced end-game content and everything leading up to it. The only time you can do this is at home.
Does it ever wear on you that you can never just 'play' the game?
Oh, I play the game for recreation more often than not. It's fun for me. I do not let the community pressure me into doing something that I do not want to do, since I am not required to play any one class. The only requirement I have ever been given is to get to level 60, which I did handily. ;)

Q u o t e: also I'm pretty sure you said no one CM represents any specific class, but maybe u were appeasing or I can't read. Almost positive you said that... why not set the record straight now?
I said it repeatedly today alone, but it's true -- we are not assigned to any one class.
As for my names and realms.... ohhhhh no. I play anonymously for a reason.
EDIT: Fangtooth did get his Priest to 60, by the way.[ post edited by Caydiem ]

Q u o t e: Hmm, you play a lot more than I thought you did.
Some of the forum-goers here might accuse you, with some vitriol, of 'not playing their game'. I'm not one of those types - I just sort of thought that you wouldn't have the time, with everything that goes on here.
But it's apparant that you probably play more than the average person. I only have this rogue, and a 22 Shaman, myself. Maybe it's MY playtime that's under-average, though...
We are all of the mindset that it's important we know the game through and through. While I am not assigned to Druids and Hunters, I am the CM that is currently relating information back and forth, and first-hand knowledge of the class does help. I had not levelled a Hunter for a while due to the fact that I had some very vocal Hunter friends helping me on that front, but as time went on I felt a little first-hand experience there could go a long way.
Too, I think it's imperative we, as the Community Managers, know what someone is talking about at a glance on these forums. That takes a lot of game time. ;)

I have no way for you to directly contact the developers. I suggest you post them on the Hunter or Suggestion forums.
Also, Tauren can't be skinned because OH MY WORD WHAT IS THAT BEHIND YOU?!

Q u o t e: So are you in a guild and such Cay? Like undercover, or with other friends / blizz people.
I am in a few guilds. On some characters, I am with people who I knew before I took the job... on others, I'm with Blizzard employees... and some, well, some I'm just a stranger in a strange land. ;)
