Subject: Blizzard - Where's the communication?
What's going on? You never tell us anything...

The new realms were released without any prior warning, and without any news of the RP-PvP servers that they were supposed to herald.

And still no communication from you.

What is going on, and when will we see the server that should have been there at retail?

If it doesn't happen by this weekend you're going to lose a lot of subscribers.

We have stated several times -- and I'll happily do so again -- that the RP-PvP realm should be made available around the time of the next content patch. While we do not give ETAs, some savvy players have noticed that we tend to drop quite a few previews on what is coming when the patch date is near. Since we have not done so yet, it's a little ways off, but fear not -- it will arrive in due course.

You are waiting because, while the hardware is ready, there are several other factors behind the scenes that must be considered, prepared, and coordinated before the release of a new ruleset. It seems simple on the surface, but it is not quite as cut-and-dry as you may believe.

Personally, I would rather have everyone and everything be prepared upon its release than release it early without such preparations and watch it fail.

I see someone didn't precisely learn his lesson during his brief vacation.

As for you, Craius, I am sorry that you feel you must continue to operate under the misconceptions that I have attempted to clear up. If you insist on doing so, however, and wish to give feedback to my supervisor, you can always eMail wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com.

Craius, my precise words are, as quoted in your signature, "I am not assigned to Hunters". This is true. I am currently the one fielding Hunter concerns, but I am not assigned to the class, nor am I required to play it. I do, mind you, but it is not listed in my job description or a task handed down from my supervisor.

Do you require further clarification? I've been attempting to clear up said misconception, but it appears I've been unsuccessful thus far.

Ashmael, you are causing unrest in the forums, which is listed under Spamming and Trolling and is indeed cause for action. I am far from angry -- just reinforcing the policies to which you agreed upon your first post here.

Regarding the Hunter CM issue -- there is no Hunter CM. There is no CM for any class. Each CM covers the entirety of the game and is not necessarily responsible for any particular class. We currently field different classes for ease of communication, but that does not mean we are assigned or dedicated to that particular class. That is where the misconception comes in.

If players believe that we are assigned to a class, they automatically assume certain responsibilities that must go along with that assignment -- first and foremost being extensive first-hand experience with the class in question. This is not the case. Understand that we do play the game daily and we do have extensive first-hand knowledge of the game in general under our belts. We are spreading out on class knowledge to cover as much as we can. My eventual goal is to have a high level character of every class.

I just want to make it clear that we are not assigned to any one class.
