Subject: Is Blizzard breaking the law?
According to Blizzard's disclaimer page for the Test of Honor:

Q u o t e:
7. Determination of Winners. Winners will be determined in a random drawing conducted by ePrize from among all eligible entries received. Drawings for prizes will take place on or about June 30, 2005. Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail within fifteen (15) days thereafter.

Blizzard should have had the drawing for the nVidia card, memory stick, and free month of WoW already and contacted the winners. So why hasn't there been any word on whether they have contacted these people or not? If they haven't by now, I think there are laws about contests like this being fraudulent and Blizzard may have broken one of those laws by not abiding by its timetable.

These laws are the whole reason why companies have to include a disclaimer page like this with their contest. It is to prevent fake contests or, in this case, from companies claiming to have a contest and then never giving out any prizes by saying that they will just come eventually.

Which is it? Did Blizzard break the law, or did they already contact the winners and just never said that they did?

edit: I am NOT talking about the tabards, which were determined by being the top ranked on your server, not a random drawing. Those were given out weeks ago.

As stated on our website, we will be conducting the drawing for the physical prizes very soon, and everyone that participated in the Honor System during the contest has a chance to win. Please be patient. If you wish to discus legal matters, please email pr@blizzard.com.
