I'm not the type of guy who particularly likes to be in guilds. Why can't WoW be more friendly to those who don't want to have to do 40 man instances in order to get good items and not have to spend 24/7 pvping? Asheron's call I liked because you didn't really ever have to do anything with others if you didn't want to and you could still get good loot. I admit this game is less group dependant than DAOC and I like that. But I feel it should be an option and not required. I like the game but not everyone likes grouping as much. Can't you make it friendly to both?

There are plenty of instances which can be completed with five to ten players, Kishkumen. And you don't have to be in a big guild to do them, although it does help. The last character I made, I purposely left unguilded until level 60 and rarely had problems finding groups. While there is a ton of content available for the solo player, you are going to miss out if you don't enjoy and/or aren't willing to group with others. [ post edited by Eyonix ]

Yeah there are plenty of them. But at 60, there's only a handful of them, and after you've run them so many times your eyes bleed, if you're not part of a large guild your only recourse is to sit in a queue for battlegrounds for hours on end or quit the game.
THERE IS NO ENDGAME FOR THE CASUAL TO MODERATE GAMER.
If you've ran all the end-game instances so many times that your eyes have bled (figure of speech or not) it's doubtful that anyone would consider you a casual or moderate gamer.
