Subject: What happened to level bumping from E3 for BG |

So I try out BG yesterday with my guild. After waiting about 40 mins we get tossed in. We're all excited and start to plan a stratagy.
I'm level 31 and my guild matyes range between 33-35. So the gates open and we charge out, to find that 8 of the Alliance team are level 40. Suffice to say they won very fast. I was killed in 3 hits due to a level 40 paladin hitting me for 350-400 per hit.
I remember reading in a E3 interview about battle grounds where a Dev said that when you were put into the BG, your level would be temperarly bumped up to that of the highest person in that game. Meaning that we all should have been made level 40 so we could stand a freaking chance.
They also said that you wouldn't get all the skills and such that come with the level upgrade, but at least we would have had the extra armour, stats, HP, and MP.
I want a responce on this. If this isn't going to happen there is NO POINT in going into a BG unless you are right at the highest level mark for that set (30, 40, 50, 60).

Could you please link the interview? To my knowledge, this is not something we've said, at least not since Battlegrounds entered production. My only thought here is that you read an old interview, perhaps, discussing the concepts of a system that had not yet been made... but I'm not positive this was said then, either. ;)

Could you please link the interview? To my knowledge, this is not something we've said, at least not since Battlegrounds entered production. My only thought here is that you read an old interview, perhaps, discussing the concepts of a system that had not yet been made... but I'm not positive this was said then, either. ;)
