Patch 1.5 is now live! Read up on all the additions and changes by viewing the 1.5 patch notes here:

Patch 1.5 includes two highly anticipated Battlegrounds.
Warsong Gulch
in the Northern Barrens, on the highly contested border between Horde and Alliance territory, lies Warsong Gulch, a fast-paced capture-the-flag-based Battleground where teamwork and strategy are the keys to success.
Warsong Gulch gives players level 21+ the ability to experience Battlegrounds by pitting characters of similar level ranges against one another:
Level Ranges:
21-30
31-40
41-50
51-60

Alterac Valley
Nestled high within the Alterac Mountains of Lordaeron is Alterac Valley, where teams of 40 complete PvP quests, enlist the aid of powerful NPCs, and clash over strategic objectives in an all-out battle for domination.

Ordinn and I are sitting in the 31-40 queue on a certain realm... come on out! We're waiting. ;)

Dang it. I'll never get into a BG. Three more levels....
I got in with my level 60. It took a while, but it is in fact working.
