How hard could it be to throw together some AA points to advance your character's skills and spells. The gear from BG is going to be Bull&*^%. Yay more gear to do what stand around and be bored. Give us AA points just like Sony did for EQ.

My dear friend, you're talking about a feature that could very easily tip the precarious balance of the game if implemented in a quick and haphazard fashion. Such a major change to the level 60 game would have to be carefully designed and tested before seeing the light of day.
That said, we're looking into possibilities of advancement once players hit level 60. It's all very rough and conceptual at this stage, so I have no details for you nor even confirmation that it will happen, but it is being talked about.
