give us some content and hey maybe even a patch? do we really need to wait for bug fixes to come in some giant BG patch?
can the team that makes the mp3's, cool little wallpapers and all these dam contests switch with the people that provide content and fixes.
case this "fun' team gets a lot done on a weekly basis.

do people really dl those mp3's?

The website content is put together by the Web Team and Community Team. We are not responsible for programming, creating art for the game, designing, or testing the patch.
And honestly, I don't think you want us to be in that position. ;)

I assure you that Tyren does a great deal of work. Just because you do not see him on the forum does not mean he is not doing his job. His duties primarily surround the international teams and making sure everyone is coordinating and communicating in regards to projects and information. He also is the main compiler of the patch notes, and works with the support teams to keep everyone in the loop.
That is not a job that can be done in an hour. The Community Team does far more than post on the forums. Even I, whose main duty is the forums, have several other projects that I work on in a given day out of the public eye.
By the same token, every single person on the Web Team is vital to keeping the many Blizzard sites running and updated. They, too, have several projects on which they work daily. There is no resource wasted.
Our teams combined are dwarfed by the development team responsible for World of Warcraft.
Blizzard does indeed have its priorities in line in this matter. The reason why you may think otherwise is that our work is in the public light, whereas the development of the game goes on behind closed doors, as it were. We would not be hiring more people onto that design team if our priorities were MP3s over patch content.

It's more complicated than that.
The development team is large, and sometimes small changes are not sent to him in time or at all. The developers inform us of the changes they've made, and it is from that information that the patch notes are compiled.
