Subject: Caydiem, in response to many replies by you..
I cannot find this thread, so forgive me for not posting this there, as I was reading it this morning.

Caydiem,

Let me clarify something: New patches come out every month changing the game in some aspect even though it isn't storyline, so it would be hypocritical to say that the game is the SAME for all people, come now or at release. Things are NOT the same as what they were in November, are they? That said, it IS in fact FAIR to change some things in the game, and the community wants it.

For example: The Inn in Westfall isn't finished, FINISH IT. Well, that is just too bad that the new people didn't get to see it unfinished, they didn't come in the game at release, so they don't get to see the content that was on right then. They didn't get to experience the class they are playing before things were added or changed, did they?

Let me also clarify to you that people that are new coming into the game would NOT KNOW that the game had been changed. What, do you think that they are going to come on the forums and actually complain that they saw that the inn wasn't finished when the game was released, and that they didn't get to see it? Give me a break, you know as well as I, unless you are completely stripped of all your common sense, that people would not do that, they are too concerned with class fixes and new content being added.

How selfish is it for Blizzard and You to state that you don't want to add new content because YOU want everyone to have the same opportunity. We may be selfish to want content, but we ARE paying for it, and we want something daring, maybe even risky. It IS a changing game already whether you see that or not. Is it that hard to see that things are different as opposed to what was first seen at release?

People cried that you changed some things in each patch, but now they have died away, and you have NOT shifted from your stance on why the game is what it is: YOU MADE IT THAT WAY.

Take some initiative, and be bold. What a scrap of a company if you have absolutely NO ambition to make this a better game than any in its class. You can argue that you are releasing Battlegrounds, but you see, that is repeatable, and the community wants an unrepeatable set of quests and content. If people didn't get to do those quests, that is just too bad, they missed it. They will still continue playing because they love this game, as do I.

I will continue to bump this post until I see that you have read and UNDERSTAND it.

Your answers may come from your past experience, but you carry very poor judgement if you think that you can actually compare World of Warcraft to games that you have dealt with in the past.

Start bringing results or don't post at all Caydiem, except to lock threads(im sorry to be harsh, but this is occuring by you way more than is needed), as all it does is creates more tension on the forum and on the community as a whole.

I am not suggesting an immediate reaction here, as I know that there are priorities that Blizzard has. But let us think for a second, if it is in the distant future, and you DO in fact plan to add this sort of content, why not say it on the Under Developement page, where it says "On the Horizon".

Think that over, Caydiem, and Blizzard.

Brairean, you are speaking to the messenger, not the developer. The reasoning I gave you is the reasoning brought to me by the developers. Internally I have fought for such changes in the name of the community, but in the end it is not my work that shapes the game. They heard the feedback and returned it with the reasons why such is not being done. I was reinforcing it with my own understanding; and yes, my past experience with such does in fact apply here. I know precisely what goes into such a project and the difficulties therein first-hand. I'm not just going off one experience, but several, in many different situations and with different levels of company backing. As such, I can argue either side -- that of the community or that of the developers -- with full knowledge and passion.

As far as the rest goes, I suggest you send feedback regarding my performance to wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com.
