Since the HK points were not tallied correctly yesterday on all realms, and the contest was supposed to be tallied based on these points, what is going to happen. You can not still do the drawing as you will of course be open to litagiation from anyone on any of those realms and technically everyone on those realms, and you can not hold the drawing based on next week as those people will have an extra day compared to the realms that did not have a problem, are you going to ditch the contest completly. Are you going to start it completly over in a month? What does your legal department have to say about this?
Contests are a very big deal and have been sued over many times. McDonalds is the biggest one that comes to mind. I think there needs to be a responce from legal and PR very very soon, as this will be a very big issue.

We are upset that Monday's data wasn't included in the contest totals, even if it is only a little over 3 percent of the total data collected for less than 10 percent of players. However, errors do occur, and the second paragraph in the official rules are there for this sort of thing:

Sponsor, all participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor; or (d) any printing or typographical or administrative errors in any materials associated with the Contest.
Once again, we are sorry that Monday's data wasn't included in the contest.
