I would love to see all the twinked out little GMs and CMs go up against a power guild like Pacifist in battlegrounds.
Any plans for events like this?

We're playing Battlegrounds on Test right now, though you may not know you're up against us. >:)
We can't reveal our characters in game, and it's not a good idea to get a "special" character on live realms, I'm afraid.

Hey, I've only lost one Warsong Gulch round, and that was not my fault. :P
We group with regular people and join regular guilds in game. We're not all on the same realm, but spread out -- Ordinn and Tyren are PvP players, while myself, Eyonix and Fangtooth are on various PvE realms primarily.
And no, they don't know who we are. ;)

Do a nice PR event with some lucky subscribers, then erase your character on the test realms. You'll go back to your native realm, with your confidential name, and noone will be the wiser.
I think you underestimate the resourcefulness of players. All it takes is comparison of equipment, and creating new equipment, even on a test realm, is dodgy.
Trust me, when we had our little PvP event in beta, players knew precisely which character had been copied (different player's character) when they inspected me. ;)
