   We thought about it, but any kid can take their parents' credit card and claim they are 21+.

True, but that does not alter the fact that as the cost goes up 1) Blizzard can afford more moderation 2) fewer parents (and people in general) will be willing to pay $25 a month, and 3) a $25 per month charge is more likely to get noticed by a parent who is generally unaware.

To make this more true, double $25. The people who really want some level of quality will pay it.


I'm not sure what our stance is on a higher pay, "advanced" level of service. I think we'd like to stay away from that if possible, and try to provide everyone with the an equally high level of service.

And because I know what's coming, we really do try hard to provide a high level of customer service.

In fact, we are expanding all CS departments even now.
