/who on most servers shows a ~3:1 alliance advantage. assuming BG's limit both sides to the same number of players, that means that 1/3 of the alliance and all of the horde will be battling it out. 2/3 of the alliance, or 1/2 of the total player base, will be waiting in a queue.
now what if a large guild or 2 monopolizes the limited horde PvP supply? considering most of the horde that are interested in PvP will be in a BG, there will be nobody at all to defend TM. it could be pretty lame to be a PvP alliance when BG's come out.

Your numbers aren't exactly accurate, Shalifi. Beyond that however, even initially there will be more than just Alterac Valley available to players. Details of such will be announced in the near future.

This thread concerned whether or not the majority of players would be waiting in queues upon the release of Battlegrounds, and my response addressed just that. I'm sorry for any confusion this topic may have caused you.

Again, there will be more than one Battleground available to players.
