Subject: CM's and their chars..
Since they have at least one in-game character, and they can post without blue liners..

Do you think they post topics in General Forum with their in-game char?

Do you think they post "OMGWTFBBQ" when they're in bad mood ?

Do you think they create Trolling Posts with their chars?

Do you think they flame on some "CM's bashing" topics?

What do you think?

I can tell you quite honestly that I post with my in-game character from time to time. Most often, it is when I wish to interact with the community on a matter without fear of my words being taken differently than intended. There are also times when I've helped players out with an issue that was made a little easier by me speaking in a manner a little more direct and matter-of-fact than I usually prefer when posting under "Eyonix".

Unfortunately, I can't speak for the other Community Managers.

Q u o t e:
After dealing with most of the crap they put up with in these forums, I would imagine it would be an easy and effective way to blow off steam.

Now, if you could only CATCH one doing it. :)

Q u o t e:
That's honest.. i must agree..

But, do you flame people when you're mad, or trolling for fun?

Despite the fact this probably won't be taken at face value, no, I've never posted anything even remotely negative on these boards with my in-game character. One of the reasons I applied for this position is because I love this game and wanted to be a part of its community. I don't like negativity, and feel that there are plenty of productive ways in which I can "blow off steam".

I realize that everyone is simply having fun and not intending to cause any harm, but it is best that you don't joke about being a Blizzard Entertainment employee, no matter how obvious it is that you're not being serious. Thanks guys!

I have no idea what you're referring to, Adanine. ;)

Fredrich isn't me, so don't abuse the poor fellow. ;)

I do post on occasion with characters on my play account, but it's never negative. It also isn't chocked full of fanboi-isms. I use my play characters when I want to explain something from a player point of view, rather than using the Official Word of Blizzard(tm).
