Subject: Ram Requirements for WoW
Blizzard should really change the memory requirements listed on its "System Requirements" page. I used to have 512MB of memory and walking around IronForge was a nightmare. I just got upgraded to 1GB today and its finally fine. 256MB is certainly not acceptable.

The fact remains that while World of Warcraft does not run optimally on a system with 256mb of RAM, it does run. There a many players across the globe that don't have a cutting edge machine, but still wish to play the game, and are even willing to endure less than optimal performance. As a matter of fact, last night I grouped with a player on a 56k connection, running the game on a machine that just met the minimum system requirements. They informed me that they planned on upgrading soon, but at the time it wasn't an affordable option. They were quite pleased that the game ran as well as it did.

Q u o t e:
May I suggest that you have a "Recommended" system requirements also?

Actually, we list "Recommended System Requirements" on all of our entertainment software. In the case of World of Warcraft, it appears directly under the "Minimum System Requirements", which can be found on the bottom of the game box.
