Subject: Why the Grand Marshel's Dagger nerf?
   http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/rewards-weapons.html

The attack speed on the grand marshel's dagger during the pvp honor system "test" was much slower(2.9speed), allowing for stronger backstabs. Are rogues expected to revert back to spamming sinister strike?

Many rogues quit using seal fate & sinister strike for damage, and went for improved ambush and improved backstab instead, after the seal fate "fix."

Was it decided that the even the grand marshel rogues, the best of the best, were still to overpowered? Comon, think of the damage a windfury shaman or a mortal striking warrior can deal with those slow speed 2 handed weapons.

As others have said, the previous version to which you refer was a placeholder, only.
