I am happy to report that the PvP honor point calculations have been largely finished for most realms as I write this.
When all realms are brought back online, players will be able to see their totals for the previous week, if you previously had honorable kills or contribution points not show up in the Honor window, please do not be concerned, they have all been tallied correctly.
Players will want to visit the Officers' Lounge located in Orgrimmar and Stormwind City to purchase items from the PvP Accessories vendor.

This week's tally included the first six days of the Honor system. Yesterday's (Monday) kills and contribution points will be included in the current week and will be tallied during next week's maintenance. This process was necessary for the first calculation, but after next week's maintenance, rank will be calculated every seven days during weekly maintenance.[ post edited by Tyren ]

There is no honor in 60's farming 48's. That's called "Honor".
LOL. The 60s who spent a bulk of their time farming 48s because they thought that would get them meaningful results are in for a very disappointing surprise.

You have to consider how many people play on how many realms. Of course the calculations are automated, but the process is quite large and does take a bit of time to accomplish.

We NEED to be able to see these points offline, be able to browse by server, faction and class.
If you keep these numbers hidden you are just going to engender more ill will. Very few players trust Blizzard anymore as it is because they can see your lies about population balance first hand, every time they play the game.

The web team is working on providing web-based stats. However, we do not have an ETA at this time.
