Nerf, that is still technically circumventing a ban, which is against policy, so you are aware.

Use of the forums is a privilege, one that can be taken away if the rules are violated. If someone wishes to participate in the community, then they should follow the policy to which they agreed upon their first post.
If they violate those rules repeatedly and/or severely, they forfeit their place in this forum community.

Q u o t e: But can they ever be forgiven ? :(
If they violate policy to the point where their accounts are permanently suspended, we currently have no time when we return their forum privileges. If players wish to post on these forums, they should not violate the rules; it's as simple as that.

Q u o t e: Cay, you really need to get a grip on reality. people spam, troll and do any number of things far beyond what nerf did in the game, get reported and nothing ever happens to them. hell, people are running around with names like "ilikeelfwomen" and i report them, weeks later, still nothing done.
your "policy" is trash, just like your description of the honor system listed on page 134 of your manual, just like the response time and quality of your in game GM's.
but hey, i give you credit for taking your "policies" so seriously, even though no one else on your staff does.
The in-game policy and the forum policy are two different things, as is the staff that polices them.
If you have an issue with the in-game GM service, eMail wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.com. In the meantime, I must ask you not to troll.
Those of us who enforce the policies do take them very seriously and we will enforce them.
Gink, you have been warned in the past.[ post edited by Caydiem ]

Q u o t e: Caydiem, if frostwolf would remain up long enuf for people to play. or if instances were up so thered be more to do than pvp, i'm sure Virility wouldn't have acted the way she did. In a way you've failed her
Sorry Iktven, no. Keeping the realms up is not my job, and we do not excuse policy violations for any reason. If people are frustrated and feel the need to break the rules, they will face the consequences.
