Blizzard tells us to give the honor system some time. In about a week, the Alliance's honor and rewards will be exponentially greater than that of the Horde. Any Horde that haven't completely given up fighting by then certainly will.
Is this "war?" Perhaps GW Bush might agree with this perception. I don't happen to think it's fun.
It's not a matter of "fairness." I'm not going to whine about fairness in a computer game - the game is "fair" in many other respects, those aspects that "the rest of us" have been enjoying up to this point.
I simply have never seen a "feature" in a game such as this which not only is completely divorced from anything resembling balance or logic, but actually goes out of its way to annoy a large portion of its players.
That anyone at all on the planet might have thought this was actually a good idea is boggling enough to the sane mind. The fact that it has made it this far through development and into production is simply stupefying.
In short, get the honor system off the non-PvP realms. We didn't ask for it. And if we do, we'll ask for something that works (hint - it must take faction population differences into account, or at least allow the smaller faction to take hostages and deploy car bombs).

We're going to be meeting with the Kalgan, one of our lead designers and the individual heading up the Honor System to discuss concerns such as what you've just voiced, Cinci. We will provide players with information based on the meeting before the end of the week. Feel free to read the "Honor System Concerns" sticky post if you haven't already.
