Subject: I feel bad for mages
I feel bad for mages and their freshly nerfed poly. Today I charged a mage, he blinked, and polyed. The poly effect lasted maybe 2 seconds untill it wore off. He immediatly re polyed, and it faded within like 2 seconds again. On his third attempt I guess he had no luck at all. I felt bad as I precided to beat him down with my AR. (He rooted, but im a gnome and Escape is nice)
He rezed near me when he died to try to kill me,and re polyed, but same results as before. (We were both 60)

I never really saw much of a problem with their poly before, as it basically just gave them some breathing room. I mean, it heals the target, its not like its usable mid battle.

I guess im just upset about this because mages used to be a pretty fun fight. They were dificult, that poly gave them a chance to do some nice damage at the start, but it breaks nearly instantlly now. Now I feel bad I as kill them in 3 hits with MS/reaper. =/

I hope these break rates arent applyed to PvE as well, or my mage friend is fired! (not really)

60 Warrior on Gore, Snepiea (Guess it dosent let you log in if you have an alt on another server with the same name)

As a Mage, I seldom use Polymorph and when I do it's usually to run and hide, being the fragile little flower that I am. It is also worth mentioning that in one on one situations against Warriors, I usually meet with the highest success of victory when compared to fighting any other class. While I certainly congratulate you on your three hit kill, I'm sure that there are many Mages out there capable of providing you with the challenge you seek.

Perhaps you should request a duel on your realm forum.

Q u o t e:
Are you capable of addressing a posters actual point? I don't think I've ever seen you do it.

I addressed the issue as I saw fit, Shryke. We don't feel the Mage is at any disadvantage due to changes brought by the patch. I'm sorry that you didn't gather this from reading my message, and I apologize to those that feel said changes are causing an adverse affect to their play style.

Q u o t e:
You need to find warriors with bigger axes! I'm now about 50/50 vs good warriors, you can only guess how I do against other classes =P

Oh, I can assure you that I have experienced defeat at the hand of Axe wielding Warriors, as well as those wielding Swords and Maces (thankfully, never an unarmed Warrior). It is just that in my experience, when fighting Warriors within my level range I win more often than I lose.

Q u o t e:
there were no changes to poly made (unless unstated) except for the druids breaking poly and the rank-2-trinket that gets u out of poly...

all of the diminishing returns and 15 sec timers were there for months pre-patched (and i tested them to make sure a week ago).

but i don't waste 1.5 sec of my much needed time casting poly in mass pvp... maybe in a 3v3 or som ething.. heh.

You are correct. =)
