Subject: 24-Hour Time Extension
Yesterday's patch introduced the highly anticipated player-vs.-player Honor System into World of Warcraft. Integrating a new system such as this into the game can cause minor errors to arise, as was the case yesterday when the patch caused an error with quest logs for some characters. In order to fix this error, all realms were brought down for an additional two to four hours. Due to this additional downtime, all players will be receiving a 24-hour time extension. This time extension will be applied to players' accounts by April 27.

Thank you again for adventuring with us in Azeroth; may all your raids be successful!

Q u o t e:
I'd much rather see official word on what you guys are doing about the latency problems, Ordinn. Telling us that it's a "new toy" and people will just "get bored of it" is insufficient.

It's always nice to get more free time, but it's not going to mean much if my ping is 1000+ when I log in tonight.

Eyonix is working on getting you some info now.
