Subject: All Blizzard Cares About- Money
Blizzard's priorities are REALLY messed up. If anyone believes Blizzard when they say they're actually focusing on providing new content, then you are very gullible.

I understand that Blizzard is a business and of course they need to make money. But when this becomes all they care about, there is a big problem.

Before launch, Blizzard promised monthly content updates. They also promised the honour system and battlegrounds AT LAUNCH (it's in the manual). Here we are 5 months post-launch, and we've had two horrible "content" patches containing next to no new content. The honour system is still weeks away, and battlegrounds months. They keep every single thing in the dark, and never give estimated dates. The worst nightmare of a Blizzard employee would be posting an ETA for battlegrounds on the main page.

If Blizzard was truly focusing on "constantly" providing content, as said on the back of the game box, then battlegrounds and the honour system would not have been delayed for half a year, if not more. I realize it is a long process, but for them to make such promises and then not even come relatively close to keeping to them is not right.

I want the content to be as buggy-less as possible, but delaying everything at least a month is unacceptable. Battlegrounds previews were given over two months ago, fooling us into believing that they would be here before the summer.

Enough is enough. People are leaving. New MMORPGs are coming out. Blizzard hasn't caught on after all this time, and it will eventually end up killing them. I'm pretty bored with the game right now. Once you get the best items you can, there's not much else to do. Level 60 is a complete instance-fest, but horribly planned out- I always love spending 2-3 hours in an instance to come out totally empty-handed.

Anyways, there's my rant. Sure, there will be many of you who disagree, and I am open to your opinions. It just seems that Blizzard doesn't care anymore about providing and supporting their product, but making as much money as they can.
We are the Borg. Resistance is futile.

Q u o t e:
CMs who can rarely post anything (have you ready Tyren's last couple of posts? I was actually really impressed)

Wait wait, is this a Tyren insult or a Tyren compliment? My knee jerk reaction these days is to assume you are trying to insult me. :/

Well, this might come as a surprise (heavy sarcasm), but we strive to be both profitable and make great games our players can enjoy. Usually, doing the second results in the first, and we rather like how that works out.

And thanks for the compliment!
