Subject: Stop with the fear, blizzard. Please stop.
Before I begin talking, I would like to make it clear that I love Blizzard, and I am trying to do this to help. I don't want to hurt Blizzards reputation, I merely want to make Blizzard a better company. Now, on to business...

I keep encountering these occasions where you are ruling us with the fear of banning. You are trying to keep us idiots like the US government just so you can have your way. Frankly, it is getting annoying. You have gotten to the point where we cannot even discuss in game secrets without having the risk of getting banned. Why make secrets in the game, if we are not allowed to get a little help in finding them? Take Bungie for example, they LOVE it when people find there secrets and talk about them in their forums. On here, even saying the word can get you banned.

Also, I find that if we say anything that just might possible make Blizzard look the slightest bit bad, we get banned. If we say something that we don't like about a GM, banned. Even if we are just trying to help, we get banned.

All this creates a large ammount of fear, and fankly, it is scary and annoying. I am at the point of not knowing whether I can say or do anything without getting banned. Of course, just saying all of this can get me banned, but I hope you realise that I am only trying to help, and not make Blizzard look like a bad company. So please, stop trying to rule your customers with fear. Start controlling us the right way, buy letting us be a community, and you making sure we don't do anything truely wrong.

Oh, I thought this was a topic on warlocks...

Seriously, I think this is a false claim. Consider the game as a miniature representation of a real society. Are you expected to follow the rules of society by fear? Perhaps to some extent. But mostly, we understand that laws are there so that everyone is set on equal footing. That if you can't kill someone without going to jail, the same applies to other members of society.

The same applies here. Sure you can say we rule through fear, but without inappropriate actions resulting in consequences, there would be no society, only a massive chaotic mess. And most people don't want to be part of a massive chaotic mess.

We don't ban people nearly as much as people may believe. A permanent banning from the forums is considered very seriously by at least 1 manager before the action is carried out.

More often than not, a player is actioned when he takes inappropriate action against another player.
