im working my leatherworking up as i play this character, who btw isny my only one, i also have a 46 priest.
now the thing is i cant make squat that ill use.
from 1-150 the only item i use are the shoulderpads because i havent found better on the AH yet.
i looked at the trainer from 165-225 and there is only 1 item on the list i want to wear. one.
now if i was a rogue or hunter i would love leatherworking. i can make complete sets of +agility gear.
now if i want to make something for my druid or shaman, nope, not going to happen. all i can make is +agi gear, go to the AH for +int +stam gear.
now to me, when im a leatherworker that can make gear over my level, and i still have to buy 'everything' from the AH, that screams BROKEN to me.
so could we please get some druid and shaman friendly leather from skill 1-225 in leatherworking, please ?
i feel like im wasting my time and money on this profession because i wont wear 95% of what i make.
if your a leather wearing class and your specialized in making leather armor, but you cant use anything you make cause it has the wrong stats, doesnt that seem very wrong to you?
anyhow, please give leatherworking a little love blizz.
im not discussing 225-300, because i understand some of the specialties have decent armor pieces in them, but even those are not considered that great really by alot of people.
just 1-225 is all im discussing ATM since i dont have the experience to back up 225-300, which would appear in better shape but probably still needing help.

I almost always had at least one piece of crafted equipment on me at some point when I was levelling. There are several pieces in that range that appeal to Druids and Shaman. You probably won't craft a whole set for yourself at once that's appealing, but that's not what a profession is meant to achieve.

go downt the list from 150-225, there is one piece that has caster stats on it. one.
I was referring to Intellect gear, actually.
