I have a lvl 60 pally on skull. i really like this class. but just out of curiosity, a started to make a Shaman yesterday night. after a couple of hours i got lvl 10.
well what i can say is that i m gonna make a shaman much faster than my pally.
Shaman isn t Overpowered. poeple who are saying that this class should be nerfed are WRONG. This class is the most BALANCED class in the game. What blizzard should work on is how to balance the other class in game. THe Hunter has few problems with his pet ... but i think blizzard is working on it. so i hope they will find out that their pets will be more useful than right now.
the only think i didn t find usefull in Pve was the Totem. when you are low lvl, it cost a bunch of mana to cast it... so i usually prefer to save it for an attack spell.
in Pvp the totems are problably much more useful :)
if i wrote this Message. It was just to point out that shaman aren t Overpowered... but actually almost perfeclty balanced. Of course. any lvl 60 shamans could still find something to say against his class. but honeslty i think that blizzard did a great job on the shaman concept. Combats are interesting, we can change strategy many time even when we get lvl 10... i mean WOHAAA :)

While I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying your Shaman character, I would like to state that there are many situations during PvE play where totems are more than useful, Arkelia. Once you begin to acquire more of them through leveling, I would recommend that you experiment with each, at least a little, as I believe you will be pleasantly surprised at what you can do.
