I know I will get flamed for this but I think Blizzard should make PVP more of a gamble and more risky. As of now, getting ganked or killed by the opposite faction is annoying, but you don't really lose anything. The risk factor isn't there and dying isn't such a bad thing as it is in most other MMORPG. There isn't really a level of fear or tension that comes from dying. I mean you're only scared of dying because they might camp your body or you might have to walk far to get to your corpse. Why not add in a system where the winner of a battle get all your spoils and your equipment and weapons. That way people won't be so reckless and the level of suspense is raised.
There would be ups and downs to this, but it would change the dynamics and would raise the fun level of the game. It would be more challenging and players would work harder to stay alive. Dying would happend less occasionally because everyone would fear getting killed and getting everything on their corpse looted.
Once your dead, other players can loot you, but they can't pick up any BOE and Soulbound items from you. There should also be a limit to the amount of money they can pick up. But this would be a good way for people to use the bank, and not carry so much money on them at once. Just a thought, I mean if you died and lost everything it would really be a dissapointment, but hey that's the price you pay. You could easily do the same thing to another player. Ayone have any thoughts on this?[ post edited by Priscilla ]
