I believe that ALL classes deserve equal representation for both the sake of the players and for the sake of the developers. The current system that is in place does not adequately meet either the player's or (I'm guessing here) the developer's. Each Class Representative should be responsible for only ONE class, and should know that class thoroughly. That is not the case for many class advocates.
I would like to suggest using a paying customer, a player, for each Class Representative, as at least one other game has done: Shadowbane.
I was the Warrior Advocate for Shadowbane for quite some time (over 6 months), and we fulfilled much of the same role that the current Class Representatives do, but without the Moderation priveliges. To reward our 'service', the Advocates were given a 'private' forum to confer amongst themselves, and bring the issues of the community for their respective class to the attention of the developers. The developers would read this forum, but would rarely respond, other than with a "please flesh this idea out more, it sounds interesting".
I think a player populated Class Advocate system, with CM support, would be a great addition for WoW.
