Took this from another post where a player was upset that he got shut out by the premature ending of char transfer, so his guild is now on a different server.

I got hosed the first time around as I am the guild leader and was waiting for all our people to move. Julie O: Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to transfer the characters between realms.
rob biggar: All of my guild members have been moved for two weeks now and I cannot. I am reading on the boards that not one single person was able to transfer....
rob biggar: So what are you going to do about it?
Julie O: I am unable to assist you with transferring your characters. This option has been taken offline at this time.
rob biggar: We were promised it would be available until the 16th, so Blizzard has lied to me too many times. Please cancel my account immediately
Julie O: I will need to transfer you to our Customer Satisfaction department. They will be able to assist you with cancellation.
Julie O: It will be just a moment while I transfer you.
rob biggar: I literally wasted 5 hours between yesterday and today trying to transfer.
Julie O has left the session.
Please wait while we find an agent from the Customer Satisfaction department to assist you.

Billing doesn't have the ability to meet demands such as yours. As posted on the front page of the site... This service will come back, and when it does you can definitely move to the designated server that is assigned to you.

Given the hostile attitude from you she did the best she could do to assist you. Are you kidding me? That's a lot more mellow than I'd expect the average customer to be in that situation... your company messes up, the only representatives of your company accessible to your customer can't help (because you're company doesn't give them the power to), and your excuse is that the player has a hostile attitude? Customer DisService FTW!!!!!

We're certainly not trying to make excuses, only explanations; we brought this up to remind you that we are here to help within the best of our capability.
You are welcome to have the opinion that our service options are not wide enough, and we will certainly take this point of view into consideration. We want to make our customers happy but as with any job there are limits on what can be done. We are always evaluating new ways we can help people, and forum threads (like this one) are a good reminder there's always room for improvement.
That said, a confrontational attitude helps no one in this situation. Everyone in this company wants everyone in this forum to enjoy World of Warcraft as much as possible, but you will need to trust that representatives at every level of our organization are working towards this goal.
