Subject: When I die..My pet dies....
   Hi There...

When I play on my warlock (lvl 34) my pet always dies when I die, he does not keep fighting for me. But when I kill warlock npcs there pets stay alive and keep fighting after I kill the owner. Now why can their pets stay alive, but mine die? What controls the pet? Shouldnt every npc and players pet die when the owner dies?

I think so.

Basically it is an NPC encounter balance mechanic. Additionally lore wise: "You have a stronger control over your pet than the NPCs do. Your control is so great that when the link between your pet and you is severed your pet loses all functionality and ceases to exist. NPCs do not have such power over their minions so their pets fight on mindlessly."
The Murloc is angered...
