Subject: Forum searches..um..frustrating...
   I'll make this short:

I've never...not once...received a satisfactory search result from the WOW Forums search engine. It can only isolate one word at a time, has no ability to do booleans (google standard stuff), and returns results maybe 50% of the time, the rest being the oh so helpful "you've encountered an ERROR !"...no $!@%.

I use google often, maybe I'm spoiled, but even the low budget audio forums I frequent have a robust search engine. This one is laughable. Perhaps it could be improved ?

This is one of the things on the list to be improved in the forum revamp we're planning.

Q u o t e:
I thought that is why the forums went down for four hours on Monday?

We do try to fix our current implementation, as well. :P We hope to have a better search function in general when the forums go through their revamp, which has not yet occurred.
