Subject: The Luckiest Man In The World... of Warcraft
I have a girlfriend. She's cute and likes to drink booze. For me that's more than enough.

But yesterday, she did something that made me consider proposal on the spot.

She likes video games. She's not an avid gamer, but she likes them and she doesn't mind sitting on my bed playing my PSP while I spend hour after hour grinding through another Strat run.

She even as her own character on my account that she plays when I'm in the shower or eating or whatever that she's leveled up to 21. It's a gnome warlock with red hair, which she semi-fashioned to look like herself, which I find hot in a twisted video-game nerd kind of way (don't fault me for that.)

So yesterday, I'm at work. She's at my apartment. She calls me and says, "Do you mind if I play your level 60 mage. I'll go on a Baron run for you. I just want to see what it's like to play a level 60."

Now at this point two things are going through my head:
1. She doesn't know how to play my character. She'll get in a group, screw up, be responsible for a group wipe and get me blacklisted by the people she's grouped with, some of which might be guild mates.

And...

2. Holy crap, she can grind my character for me while I'm at work and maybe get me some magister set pieces.

Remedy for #1 - I say "Sure play him, but let people know you're not me. Just say LFG Baron run, I'm playing my boyfriend's account." Which she did and had a 10-person group in about 2 minutes, which I never manage to do.

So, long story short, she organized a raid group, ran Baron without a single group wipe (only dying once herself) and had enough fun playing a level 60 that she said she'd do it again if I'd let her.

So I basically have a girlfriend who will grind for me while I work, which is more than any man has a right to in this world as far as I'm concerned.

And, although the story isn't fit for the forums, what she was doing while I hit level 60 (by her own proposal by the way) would most likely give me the best hitting level 60 story of any player, ever.

I am the luckiest man in the world... of warcraft.

That really is incredibly lucky. I smolder with envy.
