Once again, we come to this inevitable topic.
THE "CHEETAH" IS A TEMPORARY PLACEHOLDER
That's right, the low-poly, common-mob 'form' that we have in 'travel form' is temporary. This was stated back in beta. This is not only the first place holder we've had for this function, it is the second. Our cat form and this 'form' used to use the same model. They then gave us this 'temporarily' to make a difference between the two. Obviously, this was done last minute.
WHAT WILL OUR MODEL BE?
Of course, they can't change the function of our 'travel form' though after 10 levels once you get it, the only purpose it serves is as an 'escape form.'
As has been often suggested (and dominated the previous HUGE thread about this subject, being the single longest Druid thread we've had here, ever before breaking) we need something appropriate to the LORE and FUNCTION of this ability.
Please save your 'stormcrow' rantings, since that would have to be for a totally new 'form' function. It is not compatible with our current 'escape/travel' form.
What we really need is something that is not an animal of prey, because it does not attack, but invokes the lore of each respective Druidic race.
They need to be lithe for escaping and noble looking to retain our respect.
For example, ideally:
Night Elf - Custom model with a 'shadow elk' theme.
Tauren - A big-horned gazelle-zhevra combo sort of model would be quite appropriate. This is a gray area, it should be a counterpart to the Night Elf elk though, in some way.

And on and on this subject goes, without a single hint of a blue response, despite that this topic has dominated this board since the placeholder was placed..
Once, this subject lasted for 31 pages on the Druid board, being the longest thread we ever had there. Then it broke, split into two other threads that lasted about 10 pages each and now I've revived this topic with a thread of 7 pages and growing every day.
Since I've had to resort to the 'general' cesspool, can we PLEASE get a response? Even a "WE'LL LOOK INTO IT?"
You've changed the ogre form, various set items.. But not even bothered to ADDRESS something that annoys many Druids every single time they play their class, as you can see from the various threads we've had on the subject.
EDIT - "Stormcrow," that is. Though "Stormcrown" sounds pretty grim!
Also, I didn't spell "Caydiem" correctly.[ post edited by Lutefisk ]
