Subject: Current Epic Mount Skins NOT Placeholders
This has been stated a few times now. The current Epic mounts are staying as are.

HOWEVER, the devs are planning to, or have possibly started, working on skins for mounts that will be added in.

So don't expect your mount that you shelled 900g out for to be magically transformed.

(And if Blizzard were to outright change the models, you know as well as I do people would be whining because they liked the old look of their mount, they don't even use it because they're ugly now, etc.)

These mounts will be getting a facelift sooner than you expect.

EDIT: I chimed in again on the second page.

Q u o t e:
I think the OP was stating if you buy your epic mount at this time and the skins change you won't have the new epic mount skin.

To answer the OP's question then - if you have already purchased your lvl 60 mount you will have the option to turn them in and get the "new look" mounts.
