Most of us aren't whiners. By "us" I mean the player base, not the select few who frequent these forums. The flood of "nerf posts" can be overwhelming at times, but the truth remains that the vast majority of players are happy with the balance of the game. Most of those that aren't completely happy just have one or two small issues with balance. For instance, I hate Frost Shock, and you may hate Mind Control. That's not what this post is about.
Regardless of my spells, cool down of my spells, mana cost of my spells, so on and so forth, I'm going to play my class to the best of my ability. I have no doubt that I would have been "good" at PvP regardless of which class I chose to play. The problem is that I chose a shadow Priest.
Now I cannot speak for Horde players, and I cannot speak for any server other than my own (beyond what I read on these forums), but the vast majority of players that I encounter feel that I am overpowered in PvP. Every time I do anything slightly impressive in a PvP situation, the channel is flooded with "OMG I should have rolled a priest", "nerf Priests", "easy mode", etc. This isn't what bothers me. What bothers me is that I'm a good player, and I want people to know that I'm a good player, because well, I'm conceded. I don't want to play a class that's "overpowered", I want to play a class that's balanced. When I beat someone in a duel or in PvP, I want it to be because I'm better, not because I'm a Priest and he's a Druid.
So am I a Priest saying that Priests need a nerf? No, because I don't know. What I want is an even playing field. I like my class, and I don't want to reroll, but when I win I don't want to be told it's because I'm a shadow Priest. So if I need a nerf, than nerf me already. The sooner you do it the sooner I can adjust my play style and get back to doing what I enjoy doing.
