April fools joke was on blizzard

Here's a business tip for you Blizzard people, even on designer level.. you should be ashamed.

The joke was obvious, the timing was too close.

We have been begging for changes for months, and I see this new feature, not unlike the /pizza command on Everquest 2, but STILL, i look at the calendar and I think "hmmmm, April 1"... a joke.

It's sad, because you could have spent all of that time fixing things in the forum, or the game.
I see how someone spent time making those icons and I hope to hell that you didn't actually add the /panda data items to the database just for a screenshot.

I understand you have the manpower to spare, its not that you needed that artist to work on something else, it is that you could have been a little more sensitive to the fact that you have some issues.. and it is not time to be poking fun.

It is like showing up late for work after being warned 6 times and then parking in the boss's spot.

So the joke is on you, and what's worse, I don't think you will get this joke.

Please understand Gwayne, the web and community teams put together the April Fool's Day jokes, not development. As a matter of fact, many of them were just as surprised as you seeing as we kept it a secret from most. Changing the forum avatars of our players to murlocks for the day took nothing away from work being exercised elsewhere.
