I apologize for the inconvenience but disabling the use of certain characters was necessary as players were using this format to circumvent the language restriction in place between the two factions.

Q u o t e: Isn't there supposed to be a language system eventually though? It seems pointless to disable something that emulates what you want to have available but currently don't have implemented.
We don't have any plans to allow players to learn the languages of races from the oppossing faction, Cheex. However, If the situation changes in the future, we will inform the community.
Q u o t e: You know you can always emote that you said "whatever it is you want to say". I think I'm the only one who's ever thought about it. They can't block emotes you make because it would limit your ability to emote. I talk to alliance all the time by emote. NOw that I posted this they'll probably stop people from being able to do that.
Unfortunately, members of the opposing faction will not understand custom emotes DarkCheetah, only the ones available through the emote options. All other emotes will display as a "strange gesture".
