We all know that heroes are in the works for release a modest ways in the future. I'm curious whether this has gone beyond the conceptual stage and if some of the basics have been descided upon, enough so that an update with some hints could be released? To that end I've a few questions I am hoping may be answerable.
Does my race/class only have one type of hero or is there a choice & if so how many?
What qualifies a charachter for a hero class?
- Level, Class, Race, Talents Template, Faction, Quest, Expansion pack.
What manner of benefit is awarded?
- Higher level cap, broad heroic abilities (akin to broad honor abilities), Heroic Class specific abilities.
Are there penalties involved?
- Restrictions on Factional Req's or Quests obtainable.
Can a player lose their Heroic status, like their Honor Rank?
How far along on the schedule are we?
- Conceptual, testing has begun on some, heroes are descided we're in early balancing, heroes are so close you'll explode if we told you!
Where do you plan on releasing this infomation?
- Official WoW Website, Magazine or Webzine, Gaming Show, WoW Fansite.
While I accept that depending on the state of affairs some of these may not be answerable, I felt a little player prodding couldn't hurt in generating some hype & encouragement to let you guys show off your work!
