Subject: Much sadness: Fear and Loathing in Ashenvale?
I hope someone on the Blizzard team can help answer this. My buddy and I were very sad to make a realization last night... oh, do have pity on the tattered souls of we two wicked wights...

I'm proud to admit that I'm a nasty little Undead creature. But even I'd like some places to call home.

Yesterday my friend took me to the Dor'Danil Barrow Den in Ashenvale. We thought, after perusing it, that it would make a splendid place to stay. It's so morbid, dank, and full of Forsaken guards. But that's when we discovered a problem... Elves! Everywhere! They're easily killed, but annoying. My question is one of logic:

Why is half this area friendly to us and the other half not? Obviously there's some sort of alliance between the Forsaken there and those undead elves. But, if those guards are friendly to us, why should the elves not be friendly too? It doesn't make any sense. Is this place just a small dungeon for Alliance members to clear out?

If someone could please illuminate this matter for us, I would be so grateful. I'd like to call this Barrow a home, but these elves keep smacking me with staves. Please help. We Undead minions are not prone to tears (our tearducts having rotted long ago), but that does not mean sorrow cannot touch us.

There's not an alliance, really... the storyline regarding the Dor'Danil Barrow Den is explained in a bit more detail for Alliance characters, as they must deal with the elves within.
