What huge nerf. I understand it being blocked, by why lose all combo points? We already lose full energy? This is a huge nerf to rogues. [ post edited by Beldukil ]

What you may be seeing is the change in combat floating text now properly showing dodges/parries/blocks. When something is blocked, that means that a certain amount of damage is absorbed -- you are still dealing damage, however, and as such your combo points are spent.
We are looking into this situation just in case, of course -- the developers are reviewing the situation -- but please pay close attention to your combat log in these situations.

As I said, it's being reviewed further -- what I said is NOT the final word on the subject. Remember though that block is an absorbtion method, and as such when an ability is blocked there is some damage being dealt -- it is simply being absorbed.

I've fought blocking mobs with my rogue, had part of my eviscerate blocked, and it shows in the combat log properly.
Please note I am NOT saying that this is working as intended. My question to you all experiencing this is the following:
What creatures are you fighting?
What level are they?
What level are you?
This will help us immensely.
