Subject: 25/04 Daggerspine to Kazzak, not Outland |

Due to the number of players reported as planning to migrate from Bladefist and Daggerspine we've decided to change the destination realm for Daggerspine to another new realm; Kazzak.
This means Bladefist and Daggerspine will not share destination realm with any other realms, and the chances of migration closing due to population concerns is virtually nil.
We do not have strong reasons to believe this possibly massive migration is likely for other realms than Daggerspine and (particularly) Bladefist. Thus this is the only additional realm we will open prior to the migration starting.
Please note that both Outland and Kazzak may receive additional migration later on to make sure they fill up, and that other migration (Shattered Hand and Ragnaros) may be redirected to either of these realms should Frostmane fill up and Outland or Kazzak turn out to be able to handle a lot more players.

As said, if there's more space we'll surely migrate more realms there. With the complications this week we'd like to ensure that the migration from especially Bladefist is not closed due to population concerns prior to all who want to move have moved.

Sorry for the short warning, but it is a result of the trouble over the last few days. We want to give everybody who wanted to migrate a chance to migrate, and to do that we need to be sure to keep migration open without population concerns. We can only do that by allowing realms who have reported a huge number of players moving to migrate to a destination realm by themselves. We will most certainly add more players there later should there be space enough.
And to everyone, though I'm very much aware that people disagree and wish to show their disappointment and displeasure, keep it within the forum guidelines please.

Why suddenly realise 'oh, it seems a lot of people wanna migrate, lets change the destination realms' - you have !&$%ed us all over, the amount of planning that went into this by both realms is HUGE, and yet we get the feeling you guys couldnt give a crap about any of it.
As explained in an earlier post, this came about as a result of the troubles lately. We knew a lot of people were planning on moving (especially from Bladefist), but as long as they were organized and all moved Monday it wouldn't split up guilds. Now that has become a great possibility, and to avoid it we want to make sure the migration stays open. Without letting the realms go to destinations by themselves (joined by others later, if room) we might have had to shut fown the migration after 12 hours regardless of guilds being split.

Moving entire realms is a much bigger operation. And Bladefist and Daggerspine are far from the only realms needing migration.

I think they contain fair suggestions which I myself and probably many others would like to see dismissed or considered. As it is now it feels like you're just picking out the silly posts and answer those.
