The issue preventing migration from functioning properly has been located and addressed. However, the fix requires a full restart and will thus not be active until after the maintenance on Wednesday April 26th. We're currently determining the best time to start the migration, and will get back to you with the exact time and date later today.
We're aware of the inconvenience this is to many players and sincerely apologise for the continued delay in the migration process. We will continue to make every effort to ensure the migration will progress correctly in the future.

We will reopen migration Thursday the 27th at 03:00 CEST.
The migration will be extended until Friday the 5th of May; however it will be closed down during the weekend.
Please note that we reserve the right to close down migration early due to population concerns.

Reason I say this is because I didn't stay up for the early hours of tuesday morning because I knew migration would be open all morning and most of the afternoon.
Well it shouldn't be necessary to interrupt your sleeping cycle as there should be plenty of time to transfer your characters when migration opens again. :-)

If the migration realms become too full because too many people migrate during Thursday, then we will not open up for migration during Friday.
The migration Thursday will be allowed to run uninterrupted from 03:00 CEST until 15:00 CEST.
We will monitor the migration closely and evaluate after each day, whether or not to continue the migration the following day.

9. Can we expect any compensation for all this?
Well I will try to answer these questions to the best of my ability, so here we go:
1. I really have no satisfactory answer for this question, but I can agree with you that this glitch in communication was unfortunate and very frustrating for many.
2. This answer has been provided in the first post of this thread :-)
3. I know this is not what you want to hear, but the migration window will not be changed. It will stay from 3 AM to 3 PM as originally planned.
4. I'm afraid that the honor that could otherwise have been earned by PvP fighting during this time will be lost.
5. This is a tricky question to answer since it can be interpreted in so many ways. We will of course do our best to improve what can be improved.
6. If there are any in-game issues that can interfere with the migration of your characters, then please contact the Game Masters in-game ASAP to have these matters resolved as fast as possible. Some things will be faster to resolve than others, but we will do our best to make sure that everything goes as smooth as possible. If there will be any changes to the procedure on these matters, we will of course let you know.
7. I do not know much about what happened, but I do know that it was a technical problem that caused it. I will try to see if I can get more details about the problem, but I cannot promise anything.
8. Well this has always been a big issue during realm migrations, and we do our best to solve these types of problems if and when they happen. We try our best to prevent issues of this nature from occurring, but unfortunately it is very hard to do migrations like this 100% problem-free. We will of course do our best to make future migrations as smooth as possible, and in the future we should hopefully have many more options to keep things free of problems. We have seen many good suggestions made by players, and we do evaluate the possibilities of utilizing the things suggested in future migrations.
9. I am currently not able to answer this question, but I will try to see if I can get more info on this for you. Again I cannot promise anything.
