Really? I guess the realm population numbers we receive from the database must be all wrong then. ;)
That there is one damn fine epic you're wearin'.

Q u o t e:
Really? Try telling that to the people of Quel'thalas and Xavius

They don't read the General forum? Xavius and Quel'Thalas both had queues on both weekends before the last one. If that's low population I guess people just have very differing definitions.

Q u o t e:
Thundgot you cannot deny the fact that the newer realms have fewer players than older realms like stormscale, ravencrest etc.

I never did, did I?

We do not wish for new realms to achieve queues of 200-500 on weekends, like e.g. Stormscale and Ravencrest, even if that means the realm is a bit lower during non-peak hours.

Q u o t e:
The only realms with quite low population are the new migration realms, which nobody knowing of it wants to reroll on. Some of those should be merged, IMO.

...and create realms with thousands in queue every day? I think not. :)

Q u o t e:
mm, agree.. problem is that Thundgot sees all players in this stats, not the 10% who is active.

So me, having the facts in front of me, must be wrong. While you, speculating, are right? Interesting conclusion. :p

I always look at the number of players online at any given time. Alt characters or inactive players are not interesting when discussing opening new realms.

Or maybe you meant that 90% of the players online are inactive? :)

Edit: is/are (it's Monday!)

Q u o t e:
When people argue about whether they are alts or not, i don't see the logic in the argument. Even an alt contributes to the number of people online

What I meant is that you can only play one character at a time. Whether you have 1 or 8 characters on the realm is irrelevant to the discussion whether we should open new realms.
