As topic says, we did the hard work, now we would like to get to see the event take place without thousands of lvl1 alts from xyz servers flooding in crashing server , causing ques and stopping us genuine players of that realm from seeing it ourselves.

French realms were locked due to the population on the data centres they're hosted in. Magtheridon (and Azshara - the leading German realm) is on another data centre. We're looking into having character creation on these realms closed. Didn't want to say anything too early though, to avoid having people go "OMG! Need to create a char there fast before they close it." ;)
That there is one damn fine epic you're wearin'.
