Every time a hunter gets the Thunderfury there is always a whine thread here on the forums about it, especially on the warrior forums. Looking at the weapon I can certainly understand it, the weapon as it is sucks for a hunter imo.
Anyway, what people have to remember is that Blizzard specifically put the hunter class on the item, so they obviously think it has some applications for a hunter, even if I can't see it.
I do however have a suggestion to go with this, like the new caster legendary, why not have multiple thunderfury rewards, each geared for its own class, specifically the hunter thunderfury could have a modified proc to apply something to ranged damage instead of purely melee, otherwise for the most part the weapon sucks for a hunter.
