Sure thing :-) I spent a lot of my time in Dalmatia close to a town named Trogir. I did go on sightseeing a lot, so I cannot say that I was at one place in particular, but those days where I just relaxed and maybe partied a little bit took place in or near Trogir (And maybe also in Split once or twice)

Yeah... And the worst part is that it was a beautiful beer holder. It was white on the underside and it had an orange and green circular pattern on top. It was disc shaped and had a hole in the middle where you place the beer (Or another beverage if you would be interesting in doing such a thing.) Underneath the hole in the middle of the disc, there was a net mounted, which neatly prevented the beer from sinking.

Had great fun indeed and I do not think I was drinking a lot... Not for dwarven standards anyway. I did see Diocletian's palace which was really impressive when you think of how old it is :-)

What makes you think we need any?

I do not particularly believe there is a need for this, but someone else did and thus created a thread about it.
Such is the nature of a community board... People create threads about stuff they think is interesting (or sometimes even not so interesting) If a thread is needed or not is actually quite irrelevant, believe it or not, because if the thread is created then obviously someone thought that it was needed[ post edited by Vaneras ]

Wasn't it hot in Croatia by the way? I don't think dwarfs are that good with the heat, with theire large beards and all the armoure they wear.
It was very hot... A bit too hot for my taste actually, but I spent those very hot mid-day hours of the day in the water, which is great for cooling one down :-)

Anyway, so how was Croatian beer compared to danish beer? I had to drink Tuborg this weekend :(
Croatian beer is actually very good. It is not as bitter as many Danish beers and therefore it was very refreshing to drink at some times. However one has to be careful when drinking beer in the hot sun, because it goes to your head fast... very fast.
It is a good idea to accompany the beer with water (I never thought I would ever suggest such blasphemy), and also to eat plenty of salty snacks as well… That should keep you on both legs :-)
